Enjoy the winter on the Planai
Whether you're a sporty skier, a speedy runner or a bon vivant - on the Planai everyone is in their element. Legendary is the 4.6 km long FIS downhill run from the Planai summit to the valley, which is crowned by the famous Planai finish slope. But also more leisurely winter sports enthusiasts feel at home on the versatile slopes. Little ski dwarfs can experience maximum fun in the Hopsi-Winterkinderland various stadiums. The Funslope and Funcross tracks for all ages and abilities provide sporty family fun off the beaten track. For those who want to really enjoy the landscape, the three-kilometre-long winter hiking trail is recommended.
The Planai is one of the areas of the 4-mountain ski area.

Hopsi Children's Winter Wonderland
Experience "Hopsi's journey around the world" on the Planai
Fun and enjoyment are the top priorities at Hopsi-Winterkinderland. The Winterkinderland is located in the Märchenwiese area and can be reached not only with skis but also with the "Hopsi-Express", an inclined lift. This makes it ideal for little skiing beginners with their families and also for non-skiers.
Once you have arrived at Hopsi-Winterkinderland, there is plenty to do. True to the motto "Hopsi's journey around the world", you accompany the Planai mascot Hopsi on his journey through Europe via China to Australia.
To ensure that everyone feels well looked after in Hopsi-Winterkinderland, a lot of attention has been paid to ensuring that beginners, advanced skiers, pros and non-skiers all find something to suit them.

At Planet Planai and Planai West, we offer you a secure place to store your ski equipment. Whether you need storage for 2, 4 or 5 skis, we have enough capacity for you. Our ski storage facilities are equipped with boot warmers and storage space for helmets and gloves. Use of the storage facilities can be conveniently booked directly on your day, week or season ticket.
Your advantages when using the ski storage facilities:
- A convenient start to your day of skiing: your ski equipment is already in the ski area, so you don't have to transport it from your hotel, guesthouse, holiday home or home to the ski area.
- Comfort: enjoy the convenience of putting on and taking off your ski boots in the ski storage facility, thanks to the seating provided.
- Plenty of space: Skis, poles, ski boots and helmets can be easily stored in the spacious ski locker.
- Preheating of ski boots: Thanks to the eco-dry system from STEURER SYSTEMS, your ski boots are pleasantly preheated and dry in the morning.
- Stress-free arrival: No more hassle of stowing your ski equipment in the car and no more dirt or moisture in the vehicle.

WARNING: Use outside of piste opening times is potentially fatal (piste equipment, cable winches, etc.) and is liable to legal prosecution!
Piste regulations with the current piste opening times have been prepared together with the cabin hosts on the Planai and Hochwurzen. Any violations will incur corresponding compensation and/or may lead to further legal action.
An external safety organization is responsible for compliance with the piste regulations on the Planai and Hochwurzen.
