We definitely recommend that you book a fixed seat. Due to the strong demand a gondola trip can only be guaranteed with a fixed seat booking. The booking fee is €2.90 per person.

Charging is possible with all current charging cards.
Alternatively, there is a QR code on each charging station. The code can be used to activate the station via Paypal or credit card.
Customers with charging cards from other providers are charged according to their charging card contract.

Dogs are welcome to travel with the passenger, but must wear a muzzle and be kept on a lead.
The gondola ticket for the dog costs € 7.
Dachstein Glacier Lift
Free ascent and descent with the Dachstein glacier cable car; 1x within 7 days, included from a minimum stay of 2 nights, without sports equipment (possible with surcharge).
Ascent possible from 13:00 on the day of arrival.
Only one ascent and descent per day is possible on a mountain railway of your choice.
Attention: Booking is mandatory!
TIP: Secure your fixed place for the gondola ride in advance at derdachstein.at/reservierung. Alternatively, you can make a compulsory reservation at the Dachstein ticket office.
The Sommercard is not valid for special rides such as the sunrise breakfast and sunset dinner.
