The tour
The ski tour to Feldl is a ski tour in the easy to moderate difficulty segment. Part of the tour runs along the Spechtensee lift piste, offering at least some groomed downhill runs. On the way to Feldl, you then follow alpine paths, through high forests, and along the somewhat more open summit ridge to the summit of Feldl at 1,696 m.
Turn-by-turn directions
From the parking lot, climb along the edge of the ski slope to the Spechtensee lift mountain station. Alternatively, you can comfortably take the Spechtensee lift for the first few meters. On the right side of the exit, climb through the sparse forest and head northwest after the pulley at the end of the lift. Passing the snow-covered pond, you'll reach the marked summer trail toward Hechlstein in just a few minutes and the "Grantsch-lfong" trail junction. From here, follow the marked summer trails northeast until you reach an alpine hut in a small open area. Straight up to the left of the hut, you'll reach summer trail #297, along which you'll traverse east to the Hochtor. You'll eventually ascend along the ridge to the summit – keep an eye on the cornices along the ridge. The descent follows the same route as the ascent.
Getting there
From the Ennstalbundesstraße B320 in Trautenfels direction Ausseerland turn onto the Salzkammergutstraße B145. Shortly before Tauplitz turn in the direction of Wörschachwald and follow the signs to Spechtenseelift.
There is no public transport to Wörschachwald.
