As the day draws to a close and dusk falls over the Dachstein, an evening of tranquillity, contemplation and pre-Christmas magic begins. At 2,700 metres above sea level, far away from the hustle and bustle of large markets, you can enjoy an exclusive, atmospheric Advent evening in a small, intimate setting:

• Bus shuttle from/to Schladming, Planet Planai: Departure: 3:30 p.m., pick-up points in Ramsau Kulm (3:50 p.m.) and Ramsau Ort (4:00 p.m.).
• Ascent and descent with the Dachstein Glacier cable car (ascent at 4:30 p.m., descent at 9 p.m.)

The Dachstein cable car takes you to the mountain station at 4:30 p.m., where a warming welcome punch awaits you on the panorama terrace – accompanied by spectacular views of the snow-covered mountains. Afterwards, you can enjoy a lovingly prepared 3-course meal in the glacier restaurant – a culinary prelude to an evening of peace and enjoyment. This is followed by the contemplative highlight: a literary and musical performance with musician Josef Schnedl and author Peter Gruber, accompanied by Hans-Peter Knaus and Burkhard Höfer. The artists take you on a moving journey through words, sound and winter silence. The descent takes place at 9 p.m. with the Dachstein cable car.
