General information about the half board offered at Irxnerhof:

In winter, we offer half board/dinner every day except Tuesday or Wednesday.

For summer bookings, we offer half board 5 days a week (Sat, Sun, Mon, Wed, Fri) in the months of June, September, and October. In May, July, and August, we offer half board 4 times a week (Fri, Sat, Sun, Mon).

If dinner/half board is only taken on a daily basis (e.g., if you book the suite/apartment only with breakfast or without meals), an additional charge of €4 will be added to the daily rates per person stated on the website for the half board price.

Our mountain farm Irxnerhof warmly welcomes you in Schladming, in the district of Mandling. Within a few minutes' drive, you will find yourself in the versatile ski and hiking area Reiteralm, where winter sports enthusiasts can enjoy perfectly groomed slopes. A few kilometers away is the popular Enns cycling path and the entrance to the largest connected Nordic walking area in the Alps.

During your holiday at Irxner farm in the green heart of Austria, in the Schladming-Dachstein region, you will stay in cozy holiday apartments - suites that were all newly renovated in 2024 and are of a very high standard.
The holiday apartments - suites have very large balconies where you can enjoy the view of nature and the mountain world in the Tauern mountains every morning.

During your holiday, enjoy fresh products directly from our farm. Whether it’s fresh chicken eggs for breakfast or at the salad buffet, or the meat from our cattle, we still cook ourselves! You can book your stay at the excellent 4-flower mountain farm either without meals, including half-board or breakfast, and try our homemade products.

We also welcome your four-legged friends! The Irxnerhof is a dog-friendly mountain farm. We will give you tips on what you can do with your furry companion during your nature holiday at our farm in Austria. Please note that an extra charge is applied per dog per day. You can find the exact amount in the price list on our official website.

For the year 2025, the fee per dog per day is €9.

Your little ones will surely not get bored with us! Leading the way is the large children's playground with many animals like rabbits, guinea pigs, goats, and sheep. You will feel comfortable among calves, cats, sheep, and goats and will be introduced to the secrets of rural life.

Mountain lakes, waterfalls, and over 1,000 km of marked hiking trails in the holiday region of Schladming-Dachstein will make every hiker's heart beat faster. Discover during your hike the Spielgelsee, where the magnificent Dachstein massif is reflected in calm winds.

The ski mountain “Reiteralm” is located at the western entrance of the municipality of Schladming and offers the perfect initial access to the Schladming 4-mountain ski swing. With 123 km, pure skiing enjoyment and perfectly groomed slopes are waiting for you. Even off the slopes, you can experience the holiday region Schladming-Dachstein with numerous winter activities such as tobogganing, cross-country skiing, snow tubing, winter hiking in the snow-covered mountain landscape, or on a romantic horse-drawn sleigh ride.

Many homemade products and freshly prepared items make your vacation with us a culinary experience as well. Homemade jams (blueberry, cherry, apple, pear, strawberry), homemade farmhouse bread, fresh herbs from our large garden, our meat from our own cattle, fresh eggs from our happy chickens, and during summer season, porcini mushrooms or chanterelles—all these good things can be found at our farm!

If you are coming from Schladming and are in the district of Mandling, take the first entrance and you will be in front of the kindergarten. Then continue straight on the bike path to your left and just drive about 2.5 kilometers up the mountain to our guesthouse and enjoy the wonderful view.

In winter, the journey to our guesthouse at 1100 meters can also be difficult, snow chains may be required! But we are always happy to help, please, and it is important, if you are unfamiliar with the road, call us beforehand!
