The Alpin Chalet Dachsteinhaus welcomes you in a unique secluded location at 1,400 meters above sea level over Ramsau am Dachstein – directly on ski and hiking trails, surrounded by stunning mountain scenery. The newly expanded premium chalet consists of two exclusive suites and a private panorama spa with sauna, relaxation area, yoga space, and a heated outdoor pool with a distant view. The chalet combines modern architecture with alpine tradition and plenty of natural wood. Each suite features a private lift access, a high-quality kitchen, spacious living areas, and large panoramic windows that bring the mountain world inside.

Directly next to the chalet is the traditional Dachsteinhaus, which has been family-owned for almost 100 years. Guests can order breakfast rolls or eat and drink during opening hours if desired.

The chalet is located directly on the ski path, so guests can strap on their skis and head to Rittisberg. Ramsau is also one of the most beautiful cross-country skiing areas in Europe. In summer, alpine pastures, via ferratas, and bike trails await right outside the door. Winter: • Skiing at Rittisberg & in the 4-Mountain Ski Swing • Cross-country skiing on panoramic trails • Snowshoe hiking to Glösalm (start right outside the door) • Ski touring on the Dachstein & Brandriedel • Torchlight hikes, horse-drawn sleigh rides, tobogganing Summer: • Hiking in the Dachstein alpine area • Via ferratas & climbing gardens • Rittisberg Adventure World: summer toboggan run, high ropes course, archery • Mountain biking in Schladming-Dachstein Particularly popular: the nearby “Hof Emilie” from the ZDF series Die Bergretter – just a few minutes away. Access to the Dachsteinhaus is via a roughly 1km long gravel road. In winter, the accommodation is not accessible by car. Access is only conditionally possible for guests with all-wheel drive vehicles or snow chains after prior arrangement. A nearby parking lot is available. Coordination with the team before arrival is required.

We are very pleased to welcome you to the Alpin Chalet Dachsteinhaus at 1,400 m, at the foot of the Dachstein.
Our family-run business has nearly a century of tradition.
For three generations, we have had the pleasure of hosting guests at the Dachsteinhaus, guiding them and providing them
with a special time in our beautiful mountain world. Hospitality has always held a firm place in our hearts – and nothing has changed to this day.
In 2024, we lovingly transformed the former home and barn of our grandparents into a retreat for peace, well-being, and alpine luxury: the Alpin
Chalet Dachsteinhaus.
Together – Lisa-Marie, Manfred, and our family – we have created an alpine-modern refuge from the old
family building that combines tradition and modern living quality.
