Marmotten
Heel bijzonder zijn de marmotten, die zich uitermate op hun plek voelen op de Galsterberg.
Zij hebben zich in 2013 op de alpenweide gevestigd. Hun holen bevinden zich in de directe nabijheid van de hut, zodat ze vanaf het terras goed te bekijken zijn.
