Guided tour of Schladming: Past and Present
The history of Schladming – a guided tour through the historic mountain town.
On an evening walk with our city guide, you will discover how Schladming developed from a medieval mining town into a tourist resort. From the town hall, the route leads through the old town to the market judge's house, on to the Protestant church and the entrance to the Talbachklamm gorge. It then passes Styria's first power station and the Bruderladenhaus, now the city museum, to the “Salzburg Gate.” The tour ends at the Annakapelle chapel and the city wall before returning to the town hall.
